Our grants will help send parents only to their son or daughter's graduation from the U.S. Navy's Recruit Training Command. We can provide financial assistance by means of the following:

  • Airfare
  • Bus or train fare
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Gas/mileage
  • Vehicle rental

Conditions of a Sea Sisters Grant

  • Only the parents of a sailor will be approved for a grant.
  • This grant is only for U.S. Navy seamen recruits.
  • Sea Sisters tries their best to provide families with the exact amount of funds necessary. However, the total amount of funds requested may not be available. Partial grants may be awarded.
  • False or misleading information in the application or interview may result in forfeiture of all monies.
  • Applicant will be responsible to pay any and all cancellation fees.
  • Sea Sisters, Inc. provides equal opportunities to all applicants, therefore, applications with any of the following information will be automatically disqualified from consideration: race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and/or age.
  • Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
